Veteran Family

Easter Seals Opportunities

Easterseals serving Greater Cincinnati is committed to ensuring that every veteran has the services and support they need to successfully achieve economic stability and self-sufficiency. ESGC provides assistance for veterans and their families, regardless of discharge status, across 16 counties in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana via three main services:

1) Providing emergency services to veterans and their families by connecting them to proper resources through our Community OneSource (COS) hotline, 513-878-2200

(2) Connecting veterans to employment by maximizing their strengths and experience gained in military service

(3) Delivering academic training

Easterseals understands that no two veterans are alike – that they often face unique or evolving challenges. Our 40+ years of experience as a human services provider has enabled us to develop a “toolbox of strategies” and a network of partnerships to ensure that veterans and their families have everything they need to succeed – from emergency intervention services, education, living-wage employment (that includes healthcare) and even housing. ESGC also provides a variety of “wrap-around,” services to ensure that veterans have the additional supports they need during their employment search.

Good News: Easterseals was just awarded the Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program grant by the U.S. Department of Labor.   If you know of someone who could benefit from this program. Please call the number below.
