The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra is an organization consisting of the Cincinnati Symphony and the Cincinnati Pops Orchestras whose mission is to present the highest quality performances of great music, bringing national and international distinction to the orchestra and the community; delight and educate diverse audiences of all ages, and enhance the cultural vitality and quality of life in the region; and to operate in a financially sound manner.

Founded in 1920 and the second oldest opera company in the U.S., Cincinnati Opera presents a thrilling roster of world-class artists and conductors, important company debuts, stunning sets and costumes, and the spectacular Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. Today the company is hailed as Cincinnati's "prime summer arts festival" attracting a passionate regional audience as well as opera tourists from throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Nestled on the Ohio River in Cincinnati's eastern outskirts, Riverbend Music Center is the premier concert venue in Greater Cincinnati. The University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) is internationally known as one of the leading conservatories for the performing arts and electronic media. CCM invites you to explore our unparalleled variety of performances and events—nearly 1,000 each year, making us the largest single source of performing arts events in Ohio! Most events are free or reasonably priced, including solo recitals, opera, drama, musical theater, dance, jazz, orchestral performances, and much more.

Now in its fourth decade, the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra has grown in size and scope to become one of the cultural cornerstones of the greater Cincinnati area. Founded as a volunteer organization in 1974, the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra today has a core membership of 33 paid union musicians. Under the direction of Music Director Mischa Santora, the artistic goal of the Chamber Orchestra is to perform music that is not generally heard when attending concerts presented by a large symphony orchestra, and thereby offer a distinctive musical experience to the listener. The orchestra's size allows for flexibility and creativity in programming and represents the ideal size group for orchestral works from Baroque to contemporary composers.
