Founded in 1920 and the second oldest opera company in the U.S., Cincinnati Opera presents a thrilling roster of world-class artists and conductors, important company debuts, stunning sets and costumes, and the spectacular Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. Today the company is hailed as Cincinnati's "prime summer arts festival" attracting a passionate regional audience as well as opera tourists from throughout the U.S. and Canada.



Current ticket discount

Cincinnati Opera is offering 20 comp tickets to AFTA to be distributed to active members of the Armed Forces, Guard/Reserves and their immediate families. We will provide AFTA-Cincinnati with 10 vouchers, each valid for a complimentary pair of tickets to any of our Summer Festival productions. Also, we would be happy to extend an armed forces discount of 10% per ticket to any additional active duty individuals who would like to purchase opera tickets. This 10% discount is good for any number of tickets and may be redeemed by simply calling the box office and asking for the AFTA or armed forces discount.

Must present picture military ID to redeem tickets for any of the Summer Festival productions. Tickets can be purchased or reserved via phone at (513) 241-2742, online, or at the Cincinnati Opera Box Office. All performances take place at Music Hall.
