Welcome to AFTA-Cincinnati

Vol 1, Iss. 1 March 31, 2008

Welcome to Armed Forces Tickets Association.

Our website and organization officially launched on March 27, 2008 with a standing room only event at the Montgomery Inn Boathouse. How wonderful it was to see all of you turn out for the launch! Noted guests seen at the event were David Pepper, Hamilton County Commissioner; David Crowley, Vice Mayor of Cincinnati;Roxanne Qualls, Cincinnati City Council; Mischa Santoro, Music Director of the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra; Jim Scott, radio personality, the family of Matt Maupin - Caroline & Keith Maupin; many of our corporate and ticket partners; and our very special guests from the military including the Marine Honor Guard.

I just wanted to remind everyone about the event mentioned at the end of the launch: Aaron's Aces - Sponsored by Aaron Harang, Cincinnati Reds starting pitcher. Aaron once again is inviting military families to Great American Ball Park in 2008. Available at each Sunday home game, local military families have the opportunity to receive game tickets, a custom t-shirt, be recognized during the game and meet Aaron when his pitching scheduled permits. For more information, please view the event page on our website at:

We encourage you to browse the site often and give us feedback on anything you would like to see new or different!

Thank you,
