Welcome to Mr. Dan Katt who is joining the AFTA-Cincinnati Board of Directors in 2024.
Dan is a lifelong resident of Cincinnati. He earned a BA and MA degree from the Cincinnati Christian University. Dan spent 27 years as a Cincinnati Police Officer, retiring in 2002 at the rank of Police Specialist (Detective).
Dan is a lifetime certified instructor through the Ohio Police Officers Training Academy and a Master Trainer of Trainers through Great Oaks and the Ohio Crime Prevention Association (OCPA). He is coordinator of the Parkside Christian Church Safety Team in Anderson Township, Cincinnati, as well as the Christ Church Cathedral church in downtown Cincinnati.
For the past 19 years, Dan has been the Corporate Loss Control Manager at Rumpke Waste & Recycling. As outreach, Dan is chairperson of the annual Clermont County Law Enforcement Appreciation Banquet’s Planning Team and the Selection Team. He is a board member of the Ohio Law Enforcement Foundation, the Greater Cincinnati Crimestoppers team, as well as a board member of Armed Forces Tickets Association (AFTA).
