Since inception of AFTA in 2008 to date:
Armed Forces Tickets Association-Cincinnati was created to show appreciation to our active Armed Forces, Guard and Reserves men, women and their families by making available free or deeply discounted event tickets by partnering with Arts, Entertainment and Sports organizations.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all our Ticket and Corporate Partners. With their generous ticket offers/discounts, we can now offer to you, our dedicated service men and women, some rest and relaxation at many wonderful venues throughout the Greater Cincinnati area.

HOW TO REGISTER: To receive free or discounted tickets to events listed on our website, you will need to register on the website using the ENewsletter tab, then visit the Events tab. Please make sure you fill out all the requested information including full name, mailing address and phone number(s) where you can be reached. Without this information, we cannot provide tickets to you. Another way to register is on the Event Tab. Click on Purchase/Buy Tickets and then Register right there. PLEASE READ DOWN THE ENTIRE EVENT PAGE IF YOU WISH TO OBTAIN TICKETS FOR THAT EVENT.
REMEMBER: You must be Active Military to get tickets through our website unless the Event SPECIFICALLY invites veterans and retirees. Proof of active military status or veteran/retiree status will be required to register for tickets.
HOW TO RESERVE YOUR TICKETS: Once you have decided on an event, you can obtain tickets by clicking on the "Buy Tickets" button on the event page. What you are actually doing is RESERVING a ticket and a voucher will be provided for you at the end of your reservation which you can print. You will need to present this voucher and valid military ID when redeeming tickets at the venue. All Active Armed Forces, Reserves and Guard personnel and their immediate families are eligible to reserve tickets through this website, www.afta-cincinnati.org. If RETIREES or VETERANS are permitted to register for an event, the Event Page and email notification will point that out. Otherwise, the tickets are for those actively serving and their immediate families.
UPDATING YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION: Please make sure your address and phone number are up-to-date in your profile. Just go to the Events Tab, log in, and then click on the Welcome message at the top right of the page, then the dropdown link to MY PROFILE to update. If you forgot your password, just use the Forgot Password function on the Events Tab. If you never had a password, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to have a temporary password set. Thanks!
TICKET CONFIRMATIONS: Once you have reserved your tickets, you may have to call the Box Office for that event to make sure your ticket request is confirmed and that you can pick up tickets at the Box Office or Will Call window. The Event Page will instruct you if you have to confirm. We cannot guarantee tickets are available without confirmation for certain events! Sometimes there is an order form attached at the bottom of the Event. You must download the form and follow its instructions to ensure you get your tickets!
TICKET LIMITATIONS: Tickets may be limited per event to 2 or 4 tickets per family. We also ask that you be considerate and limit the number of ticket requests you make with each partner so that other Active Military and their families can participate in our program. We reserve the right to limit you to one event per month or per venue. Please read the emails and RESPECT the ticket limitations.
TICKETS NOT FOR RESALE: Please be aware that any tickets received through AFTA-Cincinnati and donated by our generous ticket partners are not for resale. They are intended to provide much needed R&R for military families. If you sign up for tickets and cannot use them, we expect you to contact us to release your tickets. If it comes to our attention that tickets are being sold, we will ban the person involved permanently from our website.

AMERICAN RED CROSS LAUNCHES 7TH ANNUAL HOLIDAY MAIL FOR HEROES CAMPAIGN
The Cincinnati Chapter of the American Red Cross is officially kicking off their 7th annual Holiday Mail for Heroes campaign which is a way for local residents to spread much needed holiday cheer and thanks to America’s heroes and their families.
Holiday Mail for Heroes is a nationwide program and last year more than 1.8 million cards were distributed to the troops and their families as a part of their annual Holiday Campaign. Your local Red Cross is committed to giving something back to the brave men and women who serve and protect our country.
A card signing table was set up this week at the Cincinnati Area Chapter lobby on Dana Avenue. The public is invited to stop by the office and sign a card to be sent to an active service member, a veteran, or their families. Lobby hours at the Cincinnati Chapter are 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
For more than 130 years, the Red Cross has provided comfort and support to members of the United States military. Members of our community can come and help collect holiday cards from across the country and distribute them to our brave service members, veterans and their families.

AFTA-Cincinnati Ticket Donations Exceed $2 Million Dollars!

WAIT LIST PROCEDURE:
AFTA-Cincinnati has decided to temporarily discontinue the use of Wait Lists for our events. If tickets become available through cancellations, we will repost them in the event. We encourage you to keep checking events for available tickets.
WISH LIST PROCEDURE:
AFTA-Cincinnati will be instituting a new procedure for Wish List Requests. We will only accept wish list requests for SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES such as recently wounded, home on leave, or returning from the Middle East or overseas assignment and ONLY for events that we do not normally post tickets (venues not on our ticket partner list).
If you know far enough in advance that you would like tickets for an event which AFTA-C does not normally receive tickets, use the WISH LIST procedure on the website. We will not take advance reservations for events/venues that we normally post.
Please be aware that not all WISH LIST Requests will be able to be filled, but we will do our best. Thank you for understanding!
